Huge room. We had a double and bought our own cot for our 1 year old and also had a dog and there was plenty of room for all. It was a bonus the dog could stay and was allowed in the bar. The food in the bar was great, it stopped serving at 8.30 we were lucky to just make it but others were later and missed it. It's cheaper to buy breakfast when booking, glad we did as i wouldn't have paid £18 but £10 was okay. There was a good selection but the cooked breakfast tastesd like it'd been out a while as the sausages/bacon was a bit hard but otherwise it was great. The use of the pool and spa makes it very good value for money. Overall for the price I'd recommend.

I can’t compliment the staff enough, they were all genuinely helpful and very pleasant, this is rarely experienced in my experience. Breakfast was excellent and there were many options available, an absolute must! The hotel is well placed for shopping and getting around. The room I had was slightly dated but the price I paid was reflective of this, and it was cleaned daily! There were tea and coffee mailing facilities and an iron and board in the room. Allinall an excellent experience with special thanks to Bruna on reception, Shelley and Johnny in the kitchen and Keeley for tidying up after me.

Andrew

Customer service was exceptional. The nicest receptionist from Portugal, and a special mention for Irene, who was so lovely making sure I knew where and when food was available, plug sockets for my laptop and plentiful tea and biscuits when I had to get some work done after checkout. Room was huge with sofa and very comfy bed. Bath and powerful shower - not the most modern bathroom but well equipped and absolutely spotless. Breakfast was brilliant. Plenty of room around the hotel, lovely setting. I didn’t use the pool / sauna etc so can’t comment on this. I would definitely recommend.

Sarah

Ideal 1 night breakaway stay for me and my 13 yr old autistic daughter. Booked it due to the pool, which was brilliant for us both. Stayed 30th April for the night, had food, the bar staff lady (sorry didn’t catch her name) was absolutely amazing with my daughter and myself. nothing was to much trouble, even bringing things to my room along with a bottle opener to open her bottled drink. Thank you for your lovely welcoming service an absolute credit to the team. The guy sorting food was great also, thank you. would highly recommend a stay here.

Jennifer

The hotel was absolutely fantastic! We arranged a family celebration which had to be close to Rivington Pike and the staff were brilliant in providing us a buffet selection and looked after us throughout our whole stay. The rooms were great and the breakfast was also very good. Some members of our family used the swimming pool which they said was excellent, especially for the younger ones. I would thoroughly recommend it!
